This is a question I've been asking myself for most of my life. The best answer I've come up with is "one of God's very unique creations".
Some of you might know me as "Michelle Young - singer/songwriter/musician best known in the genre of Progressive Music". Others might know me as "the voice and songwriting instructor at Music Instruction Studio who makes her students sing very loudly". Even others might know me as "the lady who keeps writing hymns and tries to get people to sing them in the auditorium after church", or "the lady who will stop anywhere at anytime to take a picture because she sees beauty and interest in everything", or "the crazy creative lady who comes up with awesome stuff but can't seem to find a way to get it all out there to the world".
My husband knows me as the lady who ran off to Vegas with him to get married, who also likes to cook and make exotic things (homemade ghee, yogurt, white cheese, soap, quilts, writing on rice, etc), and read, and watch anything animated - Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, etc. He also thinks I'm hot, which is a good thing, since we're married.
My dog knows me as 'Mama'. I'm the one who does mean things to her like clipping her toenails, but I'm also the one who shares my pillow with her every night.
My friends - I hope they know me as a hard working, caring and loving individual who likes to laugh and make others laugh, and one who is zealous to show God's love through words and deeds.
And strangers? I hope they see me as an honest person who's not afraid to admit when I've made a mistake, and as someone who will stand up for what I believe in.
